It’s Take Your Dog To Work Day!!!

It’s Take Your Dog To Work Day!!! If you forgot your dog – take a break and go home and get them it will be a fun day for both of you!
VOLUNTEERS – The dogs need you!!!
With vacation season here our darling dogs still need to be walked several times a day. Immediately they need someone to walk them on the Noon shift and on the 5 – 6 shift.
Please call Midlands today to get started.
Midus (16241) has that special “touch!”. He’s a 2- year – old combination of Great Dane and Labrador in a shiny black & white suit. Midus is housebroke and good with children. He doesn’t get along with other dogs or cats.
Sadie (15960) was adopted last week – but unfortunately she was just too possissive of her new “human.” She’s a 5 – 6 month – old Great Pyrenees in a blonde suit with a black muzzle. She has a good attitude,  but can’t be around children because she tries to “herd” them.
Hershey (16316) is just as “sweet” as the yummy confection that she’s
named after. This beautiful canine is a 7 – year – old combination of Labrador and Australian Shepherd mix.
WISH LIST – Canned cat food and
Non – clumping Cat Litter.  If you bring in a bag of non – clumping cat litter from now until June 30th you can register for a “Cat Basket” filled with over $100 worth of treats, toys and a cat bed.
Blade (16030) is a 1-year-old brown tabby in a medium length coat. He’s a very loving fellow who loves to give “head nudges.” He came to Midlands Humane Society  as an owner surrender and he hopes that you are on your way to adopt him.
Fonzie (16145) is an adorable 4-month-old red tabby kitten who loves to lay on your lap. He’s also very playful and would be a great addition to your family. Fonzie came to MHS as a stray from the 900 block of Fifth Avenue.
Cain (16032) a stunning 8-year-old fellow is attired in a medium length suit of white and black. His cute white face is covered with a split black cowl and little pointy ears that seem to be going out to the side in  points. His body is white with a black patch over his back. His tail is black with funky brown stripes.
SOLAS volunteers will not be at Petco on 72nd and Dodge for the next two Saturdays – but will be back on July 11th.
